Volant Momo original utilisé par Pierluigi Martini sur la Minardi M189B lors du Grand Prix des Etats-Unis 1990 à Phoenix.
Lors des essais qualificatifs, Martini s'élança en première ligne (2e sur la grille), à seulement 67 millièmes de la pole de Gerhard Berger : l'unique première ligne de l'histoire de Minardi en Formule 1.
Une partie du revêtement en daim a été découpée pour créer un trou pour le pouce, selon les préférences du pilote.

In qualifying, Martini started from the front row (2nd on the grid), just 67 thousandths of a second behind Gerhard Berger's pole : the only front-row start in Minardi's Formula 1 history.
A section of the suede covering was cut away to create a thumb hole, according to the driver's preference.
